Notice:

All the Alaskan Artifacts contained in my Collection

Comply with Alaska Statutes: 41.35.010, 020

This statute covers artifacts and fossils from Alaskan State Lands, including tidelands and submerged lands (out to 3 miles).  For federal lands (including Native Allotments but not Native Corporation land) the Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA) would apply.

These artifacts were collected prior to the 1950's or from Native Corporation Lands (private lands) located on St. Lawrence Island and Mainland Alaska and are exempt from the above statutes

The Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act passed the United States Congress and was signed by President Nixon on December 18, 1971.  This Act settled land ownership disputes between the U.S. and State governments and the aboriginal owners.
